1. Overview
ForumFrame respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. Plain English, no surprises.
2. What we collect
Your email, the subdomain you reserve, UTM parameters if you arrive from a campaign, and basic product usage like which pages you visit. Forum content you post is stored so we can display it back to you.
3. How we use it
To operate the service, to communicate product updates, to measure how people use the site so we can improve it, and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Who sees it
Service providers we contract with for hosting, email delivery, analytics, and billing. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
5. Cookies
We use first-party cookies for session and analytics. You can opt out of non-essential cookies in your browser or via our consent banner once it ships.
6. Security
We follow current best practices including encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, and regular dependency updates. No system is perfect; we disclose significant incidents.
7. Data retention
Waitlist entries are retained until conversion or two years after launch, whichever is sooner. Account data is retained while the account is active. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days.
8. Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. For users in the EU, EEA, and UK, this includes rights under the GDPR. Write in and we will handle it promptly.
9. Children
ForumFrame is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. Parents who believe a child has registered should contact us for deletion.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the changelog and by email to account holders at least seven days before they take effect.
