New marketing site — V4.1

Editorial chrome, live demos, six community shapes, comparison pages, and a real /start flow. The site finally looks like the product it's selling.

The marketing site got the overhaul it needed. Same domain, same URLs you've bookmarked — every page underneath, rebuilt in a single editorial register the dashboard already lived in.

Four things are different in a way you'll notice:

  1. The hero is alive. Click a theme swatch and the headline retints in place. Click a layout and the demo card rearranges itself. The site is the product, demonstrated.
  2. Six personas, not three wedges. Earlier copy compared us to Discord, Discourse, and Skool. The home page now leads with community shapes — roleplay, writers, esports, homestead, devs, collectors — so you can see yourself in the lineup before reading a comparison. The comparison pages still exist at /vs/discord, /vs/discourse, /vs/skool for visitors who arrived knowing the alternative.
  3. /start actually starts. Pick a subdomain, drop an email, choose Hobby or Maker. One magic link later you're in the onboarding wizard with your subdomain pre-reserved. No password to set, no marketing emails.
  4. Five feature deep-dives. /features/theme, /features/roles, /features/suites, /features/domain, /features/owning-your-community — each one carries the specific shape of the surface, not a generic feature list.

The shipped Copy Register is honest about what's live. Chronicle and Library are layouts on the roadmap — they carry "Coming" pills, not present-tense claims. The Council (the first Extension Suite) is live; Atelier (Q3) and Workshop (Q4) are pre-announced with timelines, not described as if they shipped. Maker tier's "Discord import" reads as "Coming Q3" because that's when it actually does.

What's still on the bench: a perf audit pass with field measurements (LCP/CLS/INP from real visitors via Vercel Speed Insights, now that traffic is on the new shell) and the deeper polish bits — a unified nav data source, a Button component refactor to eliminate one tiny client bundle. Both are cleanup, not launch blockers.

If you joined the waitlist in April and are reading this in your monthly digest — your subdomain reservation carried over. Click through to /start, drop your email with the same address, and the wizard recognises you on first onboarding step.
